23 May, 2014 -MotanumHello volunteers!I am happy to announce that Aperture Tag will include Developer Commentary. So far, I have done one simple test, and they are very much possible to have. I hope that these will offer insights into some key design decitions that were made when creating Aperture Tag. I also hope that you will find this as interesting as the Valve made Developer Commentaries, of which I am a fan of.The plan is to have at least one node per map.
So now you will have one excuse to play through the map twice. I have not written the nodes yet, as I have been busy working on the workshop, translations (More about them later.) and the main story line. I do however have many ideas in mind, so I am very confident that one per map is going to happen.All team members are welcome to write something about the game, whether it was music, images or model work.
They will record their lines and I will be adding them. They are free to choose and write as many as they please, so I hope they get creative and write and record many lines. If they don't have a mic, or are shy, I will record the lines for them. So, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the comments are made by me. If you have questions, or topics tat you me to talk about, send me an email and I'll be more than happy to discuss it. My email is eugenio.motanum91ATTo get the comments to work, you will need to go to the Aperture Tag Menu, and scroll down, below the chapters, website and you will find the dev commentary. Then you will have to select the 'Enable' option and simply press play.

It would mean testing online system, and then testing the gameplay and creating a new set of puzzles and story. It is way out of the scope for this mod.What do you mean by 'No official coop'?I plan to create some easy to use instances. So mappers can design their own levels in hammer.

Wheter it is coop paint gun race, or a combination of portal gun and paint gun, the mappers will have the tools available!What is the status of the mod?The whole mod is mapped out already. It's fully playable from beginning to end. Now it's just adding polish to all areas of it and replacing placeholders with finalized versionsWhat gels will this feature?It will feature Blue (Bounce) and orange (Speed) gel. Water/Erase is scarcely used, but it's present.Why don't you use other gels?Because the whole mod is already mapped out, with voice lines recorded. So it would mean changing the storyline, the maps and the way the gun works.

All of this is outside the scope of the game. Mostly, because other gels wouldn't be as polished and might create other bugs which I would not be able to fix because I do not have access to the source code.Will this contain achievements?Unfortunately Portal 2 mods cannot have achievements.Does this work on Mac?If you can run Portal 2, it should run Aperture Tag.
