Wrath Of Sparta Guide
Jan 7, 2015 - I don't understand this. If I attack a capital (Athenai, Sparta, Etc) I get a severe diplomatic penalty with almost every faction, yet I get missions to.
Welcome to!A subreddit for all of those who love the Total War series. Just started playing as Korinthos and I am really struggling with the hoplite/skirmisher armies. I win most battles but not well, in fact poorly losing nearly half my men. Likewise, my skirmishers are lacklustre I prefer going with artillery for fiery balls of death but because artillery is unavailable, I have stuck with javelinmen and archers for the most part. Due to my poor game play and the AI's annoyingly good skirmishing, it's hard for me to coordinate effective armies while thinning their ranks with skirmishers.Any help would be appreciated:). I've pretty much been using the preset formation on the upper right. I let them close into skirmish range, then send most of my skirmishers to rain death upon their strongest infantry units.
In the meantime, I move my hoplites up to engage, with my strongest hoplites taking on multiple enemies so my cheaper hoplites can group on a flank and attempt to collapse it. Once my hoplites are engaging the enemy, I move my skirmishers around to the rear to avoid friendly fire. My two units of light cav will hunt the enemy skirmishers while they are unprotected and then slam into any units with low morale from the rear. Your 'killers' in this type of warfare are your skirmishers/archers if used properly. To do this, you need to clear their skirmishers through cavalry or your own archers, then get behind/flank the hoplites with spear chuckers.Depending on the cavalry, you can use it to effectively fight hoplites from the rear, just don't leave light cavalry in with them. This is by far the most effective method of actually killing things quickly.Don't worry too much a bout being outnumbered in hoplites. As long as you can tie up or keep them in one spot (like in a siege) you are better off with more skirmishers.
Nitro pdf pro crack 9.0.5.9. Hoplites can hold out for a long time even while outnumbered.
Wrath Of Sparta Map
Rome 2 grand campaign starts in -272, the Peloponnesian war around -430. Wrong spellings and pronunciation on the map, wrong helmets, wrong armours, wrong tunics, wrong spears, still no proper hoplite phalanx animations, mechanics and shields, still no proper unit cards,Roman politics (WTF?),generic fantasy units, wrong faction symbols, wrong shield patterns, still instant transports,Sparta with walls,no Syracuse. This is mockery to the Peloponnesian wars and a huge slap in the face to every fan of the Peloponnesian wars. And to think that for a moment I was tempted to make an exception and buy a Rome 2 DLC for the first and last time.A HUGE THANK YOU to the youtuber for the walkthrough so that we know what this DLC is,a poor re-skin of Rome 2.
